Who We Are
On January 4th we said goodbye to Reverend Lynette Leithead
Lynette has served faithfully as our Priest in Charge since June 2023 both at St Martin's and our neighbouring parish of Sundridge with Ide Hill and Toys Hill.
We are grateful for all that Lynette has invested in our church and community, she will be greatly missed, and wish her all the best for the future.
Our church is now in an interregnum as we eagerly await the appointment of a new Priest
During this period of transition we take time to reflect on our needs as a church, and prepare for the future, as we continue to seek for ways to love and serve God within our church and community.

Judith is a member of the ministry team who was licensed to St Martin’s in 1999, now retired but with Permission to Officiate

Jane Rosam
Lay Minister and elected lay member of the Church of England General Synod
Jane is a member of our ministry team having been
licensed as a Lay Minister in 2023. Jane leads services, conducts funerals and enjoys a lively participation in the life of the church.
Jane also serves on the ministry teams of our neighbouring parishes of Sundridge with Ide Hill and Toys Hill.
If you have any questions about any of Jane's work within the church and local community, she is always very happy to talk.

Church Wardens
A Churchwarden is a lay official in a parish church. The holders of the positions are members of the Parochial Church Council (PCC).
The role of churchwarden is extremely varied. Between them Roger and David attend most services at St Martin’s and are always available to talk to parishioners about any concerns they might have.
You can also contact them should you require further support with any of the following:
grave reservations, reservation of a plot in the memorial garden, new headstone, memorial tablet, genealogy queries or requests to visit when the church is closed
Please contact Roger directly should you wish to hire the church for a concert, have a local history request, or a request to access the church archive.

Gloria Toplis
Musical Director
Music has always played a significant part in the life of St Martin's Church.
Our small group of choristers leads the worship each Sunday and we have one of the finest organs within our area. Owing to the building’s favourable acoustics, St Martin's is an ideal space for music-making of all kinds including use by choirs and instrumental groups from outside the church community
